Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 May 2026

ASB Vac Services Pty Ltd ("ASB", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our website and services. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Submit an enquiry or quote request via our website contact form
  • Contact us by phone or email
  • Engage us for services

The types of personal information we may collect include:

  • Full name and company name
  • Phone number and email address
  • Job site location and service requirements
  • Any other information you include in your message

We also collect non-personal technical information automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you individually.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or quote request
  • Provide and manage the services you have engaged us for
  • Send service-related communications (e.g. job confirmations, invoices)
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We will not use your personal information for direct marketing without your consent, and we will never sell your information to third parties.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g. IT systems, automation platforms, email services). These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your information to perform services on our behalf.
  • Regulatory authorities where required by law (e.g. EPA compliance records for liquid waste transport).

Our website uses Make.com (an automation platform) to process and log enquiry form submissions. Data submitted via our contact form is transmitted securely to Make.com servers for processing and is stored in our internal records system.

4. Website Analytics

Our website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which collects anonymous, aggregated information about how visitors use our site — page views, session duration, device type, and referring URLs. This information is used solely to improve our website and services.

When you submit our booking form, we may also send a hashed (non-reversible) representation of your name, email address, and phone number to Google Ads via Google's Enhanced Conversions feature. This is used only to measure the performance of our advertising and is not used for advertising profiles or shared with third parties beyond Google.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by configuring your browser to block tracking scripts.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS and all form submissions are transmitted via encrypted connections. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

6. Cookies

Our website may use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to improve your browsing experience and gather analytics data. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies; however, this may affect some functionality of the site. We do not use cookies to identify you personally or for advertising purposes.

7. Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request that we correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. To make a request, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or have a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the date of the most recent update shown at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
